Common Questions

What Veneers are used on your plywood?

We have two veneers: Walnut and Maple. Walnut is a darker brown color with a honey undertone. Maple is a lighter blonde color, also with a deeper honey undertone. These solid wood veneers come from real trees, they're not a plastic laminate. It's important to note that wood is a natural material that changes a bit under sunlight. After your cabinets arrive at your home, the honey undertones deepen a bit. It's a really lovely warm vibe. Depending on the amount of light exposure there is on the cabinet, this change can be slight or drastic. It usually takes about 6 months for this "warm up" to occur. Here are some good examples of how the walnut and veneer age over time.
