Kerf Wall is a system of slotted, plywood panels that are mounted to walls. Basically, we wanted to design a plywood pegboard for design nerds like us. We've created a collection of plywood components to hang on the panels: shelves, hooks, and other accessories.
Since Kerf Wall is modular it is a great fit for spaces that need to be frequently adjusted. Uses include anything from updating an entryway for different seasons or a business showcasing the latest line of apparel.

Kerf Wall is an off-the-shelf (or on the shelf?) product and can be ordered through our web store. Standard items featured in the online shop can be built and ready to ship in about 2 weeks. If you need custom cut panels or components with unique dimensions, please leave a note when submitting your order and you will be connected with a designer to figure out the details. Depending on the size of your order there may be an additional charge for customization.

Choosing a panel layout
Once you decide where you want your Kerf Wall you will need to measure the height and width. The height and width will determine how big of a “panel array" you can fit in your space. Use the Kerf Wall Shop to select a combination of panels that fit these measurements. The number of slots will give you an idea of how many components can fit on the panel array. Components like the hook only need one slot where cubbies need at least two.
The panel combinations are designed to go edge-to-edge for continuous slot spacing. This spacing means that components can hang in any location even across multiple panels.

Installation
Kerf Wall panels are made of ½” thick plywood and are attached to walls using a unistrut system. The unistrut pieces and the hardware needed will be provided with your panels when you order. Once the panels are installed the Kerf Wall components simply hang on the slots without the need for any hardware.
You will need:
A small assortment of tools:
Drill
3/16” drill bit
Studfinder
7/16” socket wrench
Level
A sturdy wall
The plywood panels are mounted to the walls with a unistrut system. The unistrut pieces must be securely mounted to your wall. This is typically done with a lag bolt and washer into wood studs. For metal studs or concrete walls you will need to source your own fasteners for the unistrut.
Shipping
Kerf Wall ships via a freight company in wooden crates. The freight company will roll the crates from the truck to your front door or driveway. You will need to open the crate with a screwdriver and unpack the contents.
