We use a high quality hardwood veneer-core plywood. A 3/4 inch thick piece is made up of 13 alternating layers of FSC certified birch and alder, and it is finished with either a maple or walnut face. The solid void-free core is durable enough to allow us to leave the edges of the plywood exposed. This is one of the key details that gives our furniture its signature look.

The majority of our furniture and cabinets are built using dado joints. Precise grooves are cut in panels using a computer driven router, and the corresponding pieces are glued in place.

Drawers are built using sliding dovetails and are hung using traditional friction fit side rails. In higher use applications, like kitchen cabinets, we use a hardware system called tandembox. This top of the line drawer slide features an integrated stainless steel drawer box and a beautiful soft closing mechanism.
